About the collection
I spent four months in the studio bringing my ideas to life. Some were well planned designs I had perfected months in advance while others were sparks of inspiration that came to me in the moment. When I was done, I had completed over 60 pieces of work. I have found places in my home for my favourite pieces. I have gifted others to close friends. The works you see here as the much loved overflow - I simply do not have enough room at home to keep them all and would rather they be used and loved then collect dust in some cupboard.

I am selling my work!
If you are reading this, it means you are one of the many wonderful people who have expressed interested in purchasing some of my work. I am not ready to set up a formal business, but I can set up a snazzy webpage for you to browse what is available. Think of this like a beta pop-up shop.
If you are interested in purchases any pieces, contact me through this form, through Instagram @husanini.chandler, or text me. We can then sort out payment and set up a time for you to pick up your purchase.
Contact me through this website, by clicking on the reserve button and filling out the popup form, message me on Instagram @husanini.chandler, or text me. I will confirm if the piece is available. If it is, I will then provide my bank transfer details and the pick up address. Once I have received the payment, we can schedule a time for you to come and pick up your purchase. If you would prefer to pay in cash, you can pay when you pick up your piece.
I accept payments in cash or in bank transfer. I will personally message you with my bank details if you would like to make a purchase.
Ceramics are delicate and shipping delicate (and heavy) pieces are not cheap. By coming to pick up your piece you are ensuring it will not be damaged in transit and are saving yourself money (shipping cost) in the process.
All work can be picked up in Walthamstow.
Making ceramics are expensive.
You are seeing the finished product of over 250 hours of work, including research and designing, not including time taken to photograph the work and set up this website, plus studio membership fees, cost of supplies, and a LOT of trial and error. Even if I were to sell every piece here, I would not come close to covering the total cost.
Each price reflects the amount of time put into developing the design and executing the piece.
A ceramic piece can be "not food safe" for 2 reasons.
1. The glaze chemically is not food safe.
2. There are cracks, crazing, or open bubbles in the glaze.
I have only used food safe glaze but some of my pieces have bubbles or cracks. This reveals the clay body, which can potentially harbour bacteria and make you sick. For this reason, please do not use any pieces labeled "not food safe" for eating or drinking.
I am sorry the piece you wanted to purchase is not available. There is only one unit of each piece.
